From above, it's a little car crossing the room. From its viewpoint, that same journey becomes the adventure. Choose the next turn and you're thinking less like a spectator and more like a very small driver.

Pocket Scout is a miniature app-controlled car with an onboard camera that shows a live view from the car's perspective.

That's the appeal: not another miniature to admire, but a different way to experience its journey. Pick a destination in your play area, take the app controls and give your little explorer somewhere to go.

You supply the mission.

A scouting trip needs somewhere to go. Choose a destination in your play area, then use the app to direct Pocket Scout towards it. Decide what counts as finishing before you start: reaching your chosen spot, completing a pretend delivery or arriving at expedition headquarters.

These are your ideas, not built-in game modes. No elaborate backstory required—although someone will probably invent one. For the next attempt, change the destination or revisit the same goal. The tiny journey has a purpose because you gave it one.

Let the next navigator have a go.

One person chooses the destination. Another takes the app controls. Then swap roles and discover whether the navigator's excellent advice survives an actual driving attempt. Apparently, 'just go that way' isn't quite as helpful as it sounds.

Try the same goal yourselves, or let the next driver choose something different. These are sequential turns with one car, not connected multiplayer. Keeping score is optional; unsolicited driving advice seems rather harder to resist. Prefer a solo expedition? Keep the controls and let your own curiosity choose the destination.
